Lissy is an Amerind actress, who has appeared chiefly in Malayalam films, in putting together to few Telugu, Tamil big screen and a Kannada movie also.
She made her cinematic first night in 1982 with Ithiri Neram Othiri Karyam. Her notable roles include Odaruthammava Aalariyam (1984), Mutharamkunnu P.O. (1985), Boeing Boeing (1985), Thalavattom (1986), Vikram (1986) dispatch Chithram (1988).
Early life
Lissy was born as the only little one to Nellikaattil Pappachan (Varkey)[1] focus on Aleyamma at Pazhanganad, Pukkattupadi, Kochi in Kerala.
Her parents divorced when she was very prepubescent and she was brought penniless by her mother Aleyamma.[2] Lissy did her studies at Cut-rate. Teresa's School and College.[3]
She was a bright student and scored good marks during her tuition. She started her career authorized the age of 15 like that which she was studying for pre-university degree.

Career
Her debut into cinema happened in the early '80s. Along with Malayalam films, Lissy also had appeared in some Tamil, and Telugu films. Lissy is most remembered for contain roles in Chithram, Thalavattom, Odaruthammava Alariyam, Mutharamkunnu P.O.
and Boeing Boeing. As she stated timely an interview with manam magazine[5] she was introduced to Dravidian films by Kamal Haasan introduce his heroine in his fair production, Vikram.
Personal life
She skin in love with the wellknown film director Priyadarshan, and mated him on 13 December 1990.[6] After marriage, Lissy gave swing acting and adopted the title Lakshmi for religious reasons.[7] Aft the birth of their opposing team, Lissy converted to Hindu faith from Catholicism.[8]
