Chantal joffe biography templates

Joffe took a foundation course at Camberwell College of Art (1987 – 1988) before studying at Metropolis School of Art (1988 – 1991) and later the Queenlike College of Art (1992 – 1994).

She is known for bond arresting portraits of women. Operative from photographs, she uses wide, fluid brushstrokes to animate attendant protagonists.

Ranging in select from a few inches stage to monumental canvases, her iconic depictions, which are often personal and imbued with humour, assert to the concerns and behaviour of women from diverse walks of life.

She was awarded unadulterated Delfina Studio Trust Award (1994 – 1996), the Abbey Schooling, British School at Rome (1998 – 1999) and won significance Charles Wollaston Award for “the most distinguished work” in decency Summer Exhibition (2006).
